The first version of Microsoft Word was developed by Charles Simonyi and Richard Brodie, former Xerox programmers hired by Bill Gates and Paul Allen in 1981. Both programmers worked on Xerox Bravo, the first WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) word processor.
Click the “Details” tab at the top of the dialogue box. This tab gives you a variety of information about the document, including how many times the document has been revised, the name of the author who did the revisions and a content-created date. This is the actual date the content of the document was created.
To do that you can go to file explorer, click on documents, Click View, add column, and check “Date created” and “Date modified” both. This will show both in documents folder as well.
You can see the creation date of the file in it’s properties (right click on the file, cilck propertios). Using Process Monitor can allow you to log who creates/accesses specific files.
Open the file you want to view. Go to File > History. Note: If you don’t see History on your navigation pane it’s possible that you actually have a subscription version of Office. Select the Info button on the navigation pane and see if you can access Version History there.
Open the document in Microsoft Word. Select the Insert tab at the top of the window. Click the Page Number button, then choose the desired location for the page numbers. Click in the header/footer next to the page number then type your last name, followed by a space.

Headers and footers in Microsoft Word often display the document’s filename, and the name may appear at various points throughout a document. The repeated name may be useful when cross-referencing or on printouts, when colleagues are later expected to find the document on a network.
To fix the problem, make sure the affected document is the active document in Word, click File | Options | Trust Center | Trust Center Settings | Privacy Options, clear the “Remove personal information from file properties on save” and click OK twice.

If you copy a file from C:\fat16 to D:\NTFS, it keeps the same modified date and time but changes the created date and time to the current date and time. If you move a file from C:\fat16 to D:\NTFS, it keeps the same modified date and time and keeps the same created date and time.
To verify the change, go to the file in File Explorer. Right-click it and select ‘Properties’ from the context menu. The General tab has a Created field that tells you when the file was created, down to the time.
Once you have the view you want, including Date Modified column, click on View on the Menu Bar, then “Options” (on the Ribbon), then “Change folder and search options”. On the dialog that opens, click on the View tab and click on “Apply to folders” under Folder views.
