If you want to remove yourself from the account you would need to transfer the account to someone else. You can do that over the phone with TMobile. You would have sensually transfer that account to someone else and then set up your own plan with only you.

Verizon will buy out your contract and cover early termination fees and device or lease buyouts from your old wireless provider. A family of four who’ve been waiting for the right time to switch to Verizon can use the incentive on each eligible line and receive up to $2,600.
Getting a new phone number can be a bit of a hassle, but it’s easy to transfer your old one from AT&T to Verizon. Verizon has a number transfer page where you can make this happen quickly and easily. Remember, don’t cancel your old plan until the transfer is complete.
The short answer is Yes. You can always keep your phone number when changing provider. There are even laws that protect your right to switch and keep your digits. If you want to switch, your carrier is legally obligated to relinquish your number and transfer it to your new provider upon request.
