Open the Play Store. In the top search bar, search Google Slides . Tap Install. The Google Slides app will appear on your Home screen.

One of the disadvantages of Google Slides is that it is lack of features that fulfil users need. Such as diagrams, charts, graphs and so on. This make users hard to make their slides if it’s for serious work.

Each tool has capabilities and strengths that the other lacks. For example, Google Slides makes it much easier to work across IOS, Android and desktop devices. However, Microsoft PowerPoint has a robust desktop solution that gives you the ability to do things like embed audio files and draw your animations.
When you attach a Drive file (document, slides, or sheets), you can choose to: Allow students to only view the file—Students can read the file but not edit it. Allow students to edit the file—Students share the same file and each student can edit it.
Launch your Google Drive (make sure that you are logged into your account). Open the desired spreadsheet then click the More button (three vertical dots) on the top-right of the browser. Hover over the More tools menu. Select Create Shortcut.
In the slide thumbnail pane, on the left side of the PowerPoint window, select the slide you want to save. Click File > Save As (or Save a Copy if your presentation is saved on OneDrive or SharePoint). Navigate to the folder where you want to save your slide. Type the name of your slide image in the File name text box.
To download Google Documents, select “Export” under the “More Actions” drop-down menu and then select the “Export All” checkbox. You can export up to 2 GB of files but if your account has more data, you’ll see a message with a list of files that aren’t included in the zip file.
First, if you cannot download Google Docs files, try to open them in the editor and then select File ➙ Download ➙ pick a format. Second, for any other file, you can right-click in Google Drive ➙ Download. Third, you can select any file, then open a menu in the top bar using the three-dot icon ➙ Download.
Decision Time: Google Slides vs Powerpoint
There are many pros and cons to weigh with either type of presentation design program. Microsoft Powerpoint has a slight advantage in its ability to create animations, but Google Slides can easily embed animations and has superior template options.
Reason #1 – Built For Collaboration: Collaboration is the big reason to go with Google Slides. The ability to easily share and simultaneously edit a Google Drive document is the platform’s biggest selling point. Our presentations, like our documents, are increasingly created and presented with collaborators.
Unfortunately, Google Slides doesn’t have an option to add a motion path animation on the slides directly. However, motion path animation can be recreated by using duplicating the slides and changing the position of the object slightly on each slide.
Animations & Transitions.
Google Slides is limited to 15 animation options and 7 slide transitions, where PowerPoint offers 100+ animations and 50+ slide transitions, allowing for a more interesting presentation that can punctuate your message in just the right way.
Click on the object that you’ve set up as your “Tap to Reveal.” In my example, I clicked on the balloon. Add a link to this object by clicking the Insert Link button on the toolbar or using the keyboard shortcut ctrl + K. Click the drop-down to select the slide that reveals the answer.
